Early 2021 for West Fargo High School graduates

Despite the pandemic, seniors at West Fargo High School were able to walk and accept their diplomas

WEST FARGO, ND (KVRR) – “I just want to thank my mom, grandfather and little brother for supporting me and these wonderful staff here at West Fargo High School,” said Cody Wirtzfeld.

The 2021 class of West Fargo High School held their in-person graduation ceremony this afternoon at Essentia Health Packer Stadium.

Two hundred and seventy-four graduates were able to accept their degrees and celebrate a moment many students were unable to experience due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It’s great because we were able to end the year thanks to COVID. We’ve had so many challenges and being here as a graduate, West Fargo High School Class of 2021; it’s just amazing, ”said Cody Wirtzfeld.

“With the pandemic and getting through that, it was an amazing experience to know that our class got closer until the end of the year and that we got better together is just amazing,” Eric said. Leseberg.

The graduates were thrilled. After completing more than a decade of high school, these young adults will take different paths in life but never forget this day either.

“Today I will say it’s one of the most important days of my life because it took these 12 years to learn so much in school and to learn about friendships and relationships and to know. people is like and seeing everyone take the next step. in our lives in this next chapter. It’s a phenomenal experience, so yes it’s very important to me, ”said Eric Leseberg.

“I think it’s amazing the 12 years that have passed to date. It’s pretty awesome and it’s awesome, ”said Cody Wirtzfeld.
