Fayetteville high school brawls put students in custody

The Fayetteville Police Department has taken students into custody after brawls on the Fayetteville High School campus, according to Jay Dostal, principal of the school. A series of brawls took place at noon, Dostal wrote in an email. The administrators and those in charge of school resources quickly put an end to it. Two minors were taken into custody, Sgt. Anthony Murphy told 40/29 News. “Any student requiring medical attention received immediate attention,” Dostal wrote.
