SALT LAKE CITY — The regular season is over, with several regional titles being decided in the final week and rivalries cooling after a 10-week slate.
Now is the time to hand over the important trophies.
The Utah High School Activities Association released the brackets for the state football playoffs Saturday morning, based on the results of this 10-week regular season.
The score percentage index has been the association’s preferred computer formula since it switched to computerized rankings four seasons ago. The RPI calculates the rankings by combining each team’s winning percentage, the opponent’s winning percentage, and each opponent’s opponent’s winning percentage, as calculated by MaxPreps.
Here are the parentheses for each classification, 1A through 6A.
