The suspected Oxford High School gunman to appear in court for the first time since his arraignment

OXFORD, Mich. – Suspected Oxford High School Shooter Ethan Crumbley is due in court this week on 24 charges related to the shooting. Legal experts say Crumbley’s case will be unlike anything we’ve seen before.

“This one is really, in a lot of ways, going to be fascinating,” said lawyer and legal analyst Neil Rockind. “We’re going to see a 15-year-old go through a case without any support. “

Crumbley’s probable causes talk to offer first look at alleged teen shooter since he was arrested on charges of murdering four students and injuring seven others in the attack.

“This will be our first chance to see what (Crumbley) looks like when he gets to court,” said Rockind. “How does he act? How does he react? Is he stoic? Is he cold?

The case is believed to be on the history books, as Crumbley’s parents Jennifer and James Crumbley will respond to a judge on Tuesday for allegedly purchasing the possible murder weapon for their son, authorities said.

“Here there will be no family support from anyone,” Rockind said. “The two Crumbley parents will not be able to support each other emotionally, and they will not be able to help (their son).”

Since Ethan Crumbley has been in isolation since his arrest, it is possible that he may not even know his parents are also in Oakland County Jail. Court is scheduled to begin at 1:15 p.m. Monday (December 13) at the 52nd District Court.
